Our group of 12 was in Pawleys Island for a golf trip last week, and the staff was kind enough to fit us in to eat at the bar. Our bartender served us, and he brought great energy, and made it an outstanding experience for all of us. I had the Pesca Del Mar, and it was amazing. Thanks again for accommodating all of us!
Forgot to take pictures but the food and service was amazing. I did give 5 stars for atmosphere however we were sitting at the bar and it was a little loud only because 4 men tried to out talk each other. The bartender/server offered great service. Did not have reservations but the hostess offered great service as well with accommodations.
Normally I would give Gios 5 stars but the last time we ate there my husband ordered the evening special. His filet was wonderful. However it came with cabbage, no starch ( potato or pasta), and the cabbage was very unappetizing looking and pretty flavorless. He was disappointed to have paid 50 for it. My dish was very good. The food portions ( other than his ) are huge. Suggestion - senior portions would be appreciated. We do love the restaurant and will go back.
Went on a girls trip to PI. Decided on Gio’s our first night. We were not disappointed!!! Amazing service! Darius was our server and he was wonderful!!! The food and drinks were superior! Highly recommend!
Gio’s is our favorite restaurant in Pawleys Island. Their specials are amazing, especially the Grouper Mediterranean - if that’s on the menu it’s a must try, but you can’t go wrong with the pasta, steak, or anything else, we have never had anything less than a delicious meal. The service is always wonderful in the dining room, but we try and sit at the bar and let Brandt take care of us, he’s the best!!
This is a very nice place for good quality Italian food. The service is great and very attentive. The ambience is really nice and sets a warm family like mood. I will say everything tastes great but the lasagna is out of this world! This was a great family dinner. Will definitely be back!
Excellent and cozy Italian Restaurant. Nice selection of wine, I chose the house cabernet sauvignon. For appetizers, we selected Burrata Caprese and fried mozzarella (Mozzarella In Carrozza). Entrees were Spaghetti all' Amatriciana and Scallops Provencial. Dessert was tartufo (chocolate and vanilla gelato). Everything was excellent, including the service. Second time there had burrata appetizer, shrimp Fra Diavolo special and linguini and clam sauce special. Again, everything was excellent.
Service was outstanding!!! we ordered chicken Alfredo and pasta with oil and garlic- both were so flavorful! The special soup was pumpkin and it was fantastic ate the whole cup!
